Recently got my order picked up by myslef from Manikonda branch. The owner or the guy at the counter was helpful he suggested has Kakinada c biryani and my fav donne biryani. Honestly the one that I order online was better thn this.. the chicken was not tendered... rubbery! The rice was good but not better than the one I get online (swigg*) . Small little food outlet didn't see dine in..it was more like a take away store. Accepts UPI ..

3. Taste - just okay.. I stayed in Hebbal Bangalore.. All the roadside restaurants at that place have similar flavor Biryani at half the price and better taste
They are serving biryani in dried leaf bowl. Briyani prepared with seeraga samba rice. Chicken briyani cost 200 rs. Tastewise good. It's different from hyderabad briyani.
This particular name has taken Bengaluru by storm. Called the Chickpet Donne Biryani House, it promises delicious biryani which is to die for. The concept of this restaurant is that it is served in a dried palm leaf bowl called a ಡೊನ್ನೆ (Donne). The rice they use here is Jeeraga Samba rice grown particularly in South India. The rice is cooked in a beautiful paste of mint, coriander and spices. The chicken/mutton is cooked seperately. While the rice remains the same for all biryani, only the toppings change. It comes with a raita and an occasional mirchi chutney. Each Donne Biryani comes with 4 chicken pieces if you opt for the chicken variant, half an egg, raita, onion and lemon. Each portion of the biryani can fill your stomach easily.

Having set it's foot in Hyderabad, the land of Nizams and the famous Hyderabadi Biryani, we see how it fares. To start, both have contrasting tastes. The Donne Biryani feels heavier than the Hyderabadi biryani because of the use of different type of rice. Both makes you happy and you're left satisfied. The restaurant in SR nagar is a small place, so it is usually crowded. Wait time is around 5-10 minutes. Service is fast too.

Biryani taste good but the chicken added on the top of it is not fresh. We had a bad experience at the dine-in, the chicken served is not fresh, I wonder how it will be if it is a take away.
If you want to try different type of biryani. Try Donne Biryani And Food taste is good and quality also nice. Rice is same for all types of non veg biryanis. Chicken pieces are deep fried .
And while delivery through Swiggy or zomato it cost 310 per person
Food is awesome 😎, I tried both mutton karam podi biryani and kakinada chicken biryani.
Positive:
1)mutton karam podi biryani is very good and good quality.
2) kakinada chicken biryani average.
3) Ambiance is good.
Negative:
1) limited options for starters.
2)atomspher while entering into dine in.
3) Limited cool drinks available.

This place Chickpet Donne Biriyani house serves a very famous dish from south Bengaluru, it’s their specialty dish. The concept of this biriyani is that it is served in a dried palm leaf bowl which is know as Donne, rice use in it is jeeraga samba rice which is particularly grown in south India,the rice is cooked in mint paste,coriander and spices. They have a good variety of Donne Biriyani like chicken,mutton,fish,etc.., the rice is same in all the biriyani’s only the toppings change which are cooked separately, fine texture of rice and masala added in it was something really interesting to have,it’s something totally different from our Hyderabadi Biriyani. Also it serves many variety of Veg & Non-Veg starters which are cooked in south Indian style. The ambience here was ok don’t have much expectations it’s an small place but the service was good, this place have around 8 branches across the city,do check them out 😋
